Gratitude Sunday

Joining the wonderfully warm and beautiful Taryn of  Wooly Moss Roots,  I am listing the things I am grateful for.

G r a t i t u d e  *  S u n d a y

{Sunday's heartfelt tradition. A time to slow down, to reflect, to be grateful. A list of gratitudes.}

HRH Prince of Wales...I am grateful to him for writing ( along with Tony Juniper and Ian Skelly ) a book called 'Harmony', it begins~

"This is a call to revolution. The earth is under threat. It cannot cope with all that we demand of it. It is losing its balance and we humans are causing this to happen."

and it ends~

" Only when we establish a far more sustainable economic system; only then can we live by more rooted values; and only then might we tread more lightly upon this Earth, the miracle of creation that is our privilege to call 'home'. "

Prince Charles is President of 20 non-profit charities. Eighteen of these charities were founded personally by the Prince. The Prince's charities are active in a wide range of areas including education, health, the environment and farming. In 1990 Prince Charles launched Duchy Originals  to promote organic food and farming and help sustain the countryside and wildlife. The profits the company make go to the Prince's charities.

Time spent with my family.

A really comfortable bed to sleep in each night...and a wonderful supportive pillow. I am grateful for my home, for so many people are homeless.
~
Friends....who even if I haven't seen them for a while it still feels like I saw them yesterday. Friends like that are always in my heart, I carry them with me always.
~
A beautiful sun setting yesterday...what a gorgeous sight.
~
Rain today and forecast for next week.
This land desperately needs rain.

I am grateful for love, kindness, hope, belief in people.
I believe in people.

I am tired this weekend...so I am grateful for a few extra days off work next week.

Hoping, wishing and praying for peace in our troubled world.
Much love and peace to you friends.

Sweet Trish - rest, relax and put your feet up. Enjoy the book and time with your beloved family. I'm so glad to read that Prince Charles is concerned about the earth and what we are doing to her not only for us humans but for all beings that live here. It gives me more hope.
xoxo
